Why do NLoF collect data
The data collected is used to provide a meaningful service to our website visitors and to being able to respond to user inquiries and related questions, comments etc.
Personal data
Upon accepting this privacy policy and using the website you as a user agree that we collect certain data, that is classified as personal data. Personal data is information that are directly related to a person (e.g. name) or can be connected with a person (e.g. IP-address).
Furthermore, when contacting NLoF - using contact forms or by email - you share personal information with us (e.g. IP-adress email address, name, message).
Analytics
NLoF strives to continuously improve our service and outreach. Hence, we are interested to know more about what users are visiting our website. As with any website built on the Squarespace CMS, analytics (i.e. visitor statistics) can be gathered from the website visitors. Until the privacy policy is actively accepted, Squarespace cookies for analytics will not be placed on your device and your data will not be part of our statistics.

NLoF actively strive to not collect more data than necessary, nor to save the data collected for longer times than necessary.

Sharing Data
NLoF can share your personal data (e.g. name, email address, IP address) with other parties with external parties such as external IT service providers and staff at Lund University. NLoF do not sell your personal data to any party.
Transfer outside EU/European Economic Area (EEA)
Any data gathered through the website, including information sent through our contact form, is managed by Squarespace and hence, also transferred outside EU/EEA as Squarespace is a company registered in the United States (USA).
